COVID-19

On March 16, 2020 , Alameda County Officer issued a order of "Shelter in Place". Our business had ceased all the operations in the facility.

On March 20, 2020 , we were made aware that our service fell under essential business and we went ahead and resumed our operation. under clause f. xv. “Businesses that supply other essential businesses with the support or supplies necessary to operate.” The most current statewide executive order has further modified the term “Essential Business” and replaced it with “Critical Infrastructure Sectors”.

To still adhere this Order, our employees are still practicing “Social Distancing Requirements” at work which includes maintaining at least six-foot social distancing from other individuals, washing hands with soap and water for at least twenty seconds as frequently as possible or using hand sanitizer, covering coughs or sneezes (into the sleeve or elbow, not hands), regularly cleaning high-touch surfaces, and not shaking hands. Our employees are frequently cleaning the facility and the equipment to keep everything clean and sanitized. Fuentes Machine Shop employees are also maintaining these standards outside of work so that they don't jeopardize anyone's health in the facility or anything that leaves the facility as well.
